Has anyone received their free diabetes wristband yet?

I know there's a few to go out.

Wristband?? No mart I haven't received one

There was a competition on here a while back, got an email to say I'd got one, just never appeared. Never mind.

I remember that !! I 'won' one aswell....

I see they are for sale now on another part of this site. It would be really nice to receive it. I don't do wristbands but I would wear a Diabetes one....

Still waiting for the one I won

Didn't see the competition but did see on a well known website free diabetic silicone wristbands. Postage was ridiculous for it though !!!

I wonder if that's the same company who emailed a friend telling him he'd won £1,000,000?

They would, of course, pay the winnings directly into his bank account if he gave them the details. Oooo, he was tempted...!

I have not received mine yet either but have a vague memory of it saying it may take 28 working days! No bank details were asked for by the way so I assume it will arrive eventually or if not nothing is lost.

Well if they do turn up I'd imagine they'd be handy for those who might need to alert people to their condition. If its one of those silicon dealies it'll be waterproof and no worries about chain links breaking etc :0

Congrats to those who 'won' :3

Irw? Bit cynical, mate. I didn't give anyone £50,000 to trigger a £1M payment. This is from this very website. I simply asked if anyone received their promised wristband, which I'd find useful, not a refund on my snake oil that can cure death.

I didn't know about the free wristband thing but my man brought me two pink rubber wristbands like the 'help the hero's' wristbands and they're amazing I wouldn't be with out it.. On mine it says "ALERT" and the medical symbol on one side and on the other " TYPE 1 DIABETES" I don't take it off at all, he got them off of Ebay for around £1.99 for two and you can have any colour you wish and they're pretty cheap... I find mine useful as I work as a Nursery Nurse and the kids like to look at the ban and ask about it I use to have a chain which they would pull on it and it broke now.. with these rubber wristbands they like the colour of them and they can pull on them and they don't break... It's so much easier in my profession as it doesn't cost as much as fixing the chain or getting a new one hope this helps

Thank you, Keith.

Hey all. The e-mail you received to inform you that you had won your wristbands did state they would take 6-8 weeks. We're currently waiting on the delivery of the wristbands and then we'll have to package them and stamp them all individually by hand which will take a while since we have a few thousand to get through.

You definitely will receive your wristbands!
