Hi to all the fellow diabetics on here and i just want to quickly introduce myself, im jonsel and ive been diabetic for over 25 years and im still going strong with my body still just about hanging on in there
i would just like to hear peoples opinions and views on a book ive written which is aimed at teens and young kids in dealing with their diabetes in everyday life? Grown ups can also relate to it as it just talks about experiences we can all relate to and how you can live a normal life eventhough others seem to add a dose of negativity when discussing it. I have found that some medics still speak about diabetes as if its s form of lepracy and our lives wont be as fulfilling as those who dont have type 1 or type 2 diabetes. I just want to make a breakthrough in adding some hope and happiness to those who find it hard in dealing with it and to make those in the nhs to be more understanding when advising and going about their business. The book is called DIABETES WONT DEFEAT US and im in the process of trying to sort a publishing deal at this moment in time. If fellow diabetics feel it is a good idea then im all for pushing it as i feel not enough is done to add positivity when talking about the bully which aggrevates us a lot of the time and is called diabetes. Much love to you all x
