Calling all children and young people with diabetes and their parents: -- Diabetes UK is lobbying parliament on Wednesday 5th June. The idea is that you meet with your MP in Westminster to ask them to ensure that all children with diabetes are getting the tests and checks that they are entitled to. You can also use the opportunity to bring up any specific problems that children with diabetes face in your area.
If you and your child would like to take part in the lobby it will run between 1pm and 6pm and Diabetes UK will pay for your travel to and from the event and can set up the meeting between you and your MP[/b].

This is a great opportunity to raise consciousness in parliament about children with diabetes and it won't cost you a penny.
