Hi guys,
I'm a type 1 diabetic diagnosed on 18th of May 2011 ( I remember the day as it was yesterday ) it changed my life. I handled my illness at first really taking charge, but as soon as the honeymoon period ended I went in to denial and didn't inject at 6 months at a time... I'm so blessed to be here to tell my story, I hold my head high and can say I'm taking charge rather than letting diabetes consume my life!
To show how serious and passionate I am about diabetes I've arranged a charity Sky dive on the 27/09/2015 in Cambridge. I can reassure you even thinking about jumping 10,000ft from a plane makes my knees knock and heart race! But this charity is so close to my heart that I'm willing anything to raise £1000 for the cause.
I would be so grateful for the love and support, it's going to a great cause that's for sure!
