So here's the thing, with quite a few years of being T1 under my belt I find I do things a certain way.
I have my 1st thing in the morning routine, before a meal routine and last thing at night routine, to name but a few.
Now I would like to think a lot of you out there have very similar routines.
As a T1 I have a fair bit of medication and sundries to keep me going on a daily basis. Insulin pens x2, tablets x4 types, test strip's, test meter, needles, cotton wool, carb count book, daily log book and various other bits and bobs all related to my diabetes.
All of this stuff goes in the DIABETIC DRAW. This is no normal draw, OH NO, this draw is compartmentalised.
There are compartments for each item, all made to just the right size (MDF wonderful stuff).
Can't begin to tell you how pi**ed I get when the pharmacy change supplier of things I've got a set compartment for, only for the new supplier to use different size packaging. That's another story though.
My question now is, I'm already in a minority being T1, but please please please someone out there tell me that you have a compartmentalised DIABETIC DRAW. I'm beginning to question my sanity on this one, if you don't have a DD what do you have?
