Diabetes!!
Had my first diabetic eye screening today! It wasn’t as bad as I was expecting it to be! Got to wait 3 weeks for results and once I have them I have been told to go to my opticians for a regular eye test! ️️

That's great to hear, I personally hate the eye drops but each to their own :hilarious: I have poor eyesight so go for regular eye tests anyway but the benefit (if you can even say that?) of being in the UK with diabetes is not paying for an eye test when I do go!

Your eyes are super important and opticians can pick up slight eye changes and mine even do a background eye test for an additional fee although I don't see the point given that we get them yearly anyway!

They do tend to sting a bit! The lady that put the drops in said it’s a bit like when you cut into an onion. My pupils are still dilated. I look like I’m on something lol.

I haven’t had a regular eye test for years! I did a snellen eye test with the letters that you have to do when you have a regular eye test. I did surprisingly better at it than I thought I would to say I have glasses but don’t wear them!

Although my left eye is a lot stronger than my right! I had a lazy eye when I was younger!
