Diabetic friendly syrup

Hi there,

I was just wondering if there are any diabetic friendly syrups out there? Trying to make some low carb, healthy snack bars and need something sticky to bind the ingredients

I have been diagnosed with diabetes for just over a year now and the one thing I am struggling with is chocolate and desserts. I have such a sweet tooth and I figure I would try my hand at baking my own sweets so I can control the carb content.

I don't know how good maple syrup and honey etc would be for these snacks. I've read that agave isn't as healthy as it makes itself out to be. Anyone know of any other syrups that are low carb?

Try the low carbmegastore, I buy sugar free syrup from there and the low carb tortillas. If you think the postage is high, try taking your car, parking fees etc into consideration.
