I was suffering from gastroparesis, my symptoms were daily vomiting of undigested food, sweating, constipation, stomach pains, permanent nausea...my doctor prescribed all sorts of medication but it didnt really help much, I found it helpful to eat small meals and chew really, really well or liquidise fruit/veg, anything soft or mashed stayed down too, but only ever in small quantities.
I found the condition was even worse whenever my bg was really high (in the 20s) and a bit easier if I managed to keep bg under 20, having said that in those days I never had any readings in single figures. What is your bg like, do you take supplements? I wonder if you are deficient in vitamins/minerals, since you have had your pancreas, duodenum and spleen removed, does that mean you have to keep on taking antibiotics all the time? Sorry if I am sounding ignorant there, but if you have to keep taking medication and missing organs could maybe cause some deficiencies?
Anyway at the time I had totally uncontrolled diabetes, a long story, but I have since managed to get a grip on myself, this has eventually also cured all my neuropathy symptoms and my stomach now works fine as a result.
All the best, I hope you get better soon
Karen
