Go and have a free BGs test at Lloyds chemist, aim for about two hours after breakfast or lunch.
Anything over say 8mmol might need a doctors attention and they will send the info on to him/her.
The doctor might then do a more accurate test and be able to diagnose you. If you ask he or she might do one anyway.
I am not a doctor, and cannot diagnose your problem, but it looks like your doctor is treating you for some sort of UTI. You need to discuss your concerns with your doctor, and always tell him/her of all the symptoms you have, and that your dad is T2.
So go back to your doctor, ask for a blood sugar test, tell him/her about your symptoms and let us know how you get on.
