Diabetic maculopathy

Hi, I am new 2 the forum. Wish 2 know if any type 1 Diabetics suffer with eye pain when showing signs of Diabetic Maculopathy. I am registered partially sighted with a diagnoses of Peripheral Diabetic Retinopathy; tunnel vision. Need 2 go back within the next 6 months 4 further eye screening 2 c if maculopathy has improved / got worse. I presume I will b referred 2 Eye specialist if condition has not improved 4 treatment. Just curious as I have discomfort in my right eye which is concerning me.

Like my Diabetes of 43 years & fighting my sight problems for 16 years. U learn 2 live & get on with things . 2 b honest need 2 make an appointment with my GP 2 b referred back 2 my eye specialist; who is rated one of the best in the UK. Thanks 4 hug Freema.
