Hi @kumas002 I was on it for over a year and it did the trick of bringing my BG down but I had to stick to low carb and drink plenty of water so I didn’t get any side affects. If I ate too many carbs (birthday cake comes to mind) then I had thrush! Not on it now.
ok thanks. i was put on it about 6 months ago. was losing weight drastically which is 1 of the side effects but doctors saying keep on it and drink plenty fluids and weight will stabilize.
also not getting on with metformin 850 mg keep getting diaohrea been diabtic 20 years on tablets

I've been on Metformin SR for years, but as my A1c was high, my GP added dapagliflozin. I noticed it made me more constipated despite staying hydrated, but that was okay until I had an episode so severe that it was like an impacted stool medical emergency. I stopped it for a couple of days and improved. I'm trying it out again, but not quite every day, like I'm supposed to.
