Diabetic type 1 insulin last 32 yrs
Was on nova rapid last 3f0 yrs
Now I'm on APIIRDA
Was on Levimir last 30 yrs
Now I'm on Tresiba
For as long as I can remember I've always had "tingling" in my toes.
BUT since changing onto the insulin as above I've developed massive, frozen feeling, numbness, and chronic pins and needles in my FEET.
I KNOW there is no known cure
My question to my fellow diabetics is........
Although there is no known cure, what has helped relive the symptoms?
Especially at bedtime when trying to sleep
I'm using magnesium healing ointment (smells and feels like *****)
Im OK when I wear trainers, can hardly feel the sensations, its when I go to bed...YIKES
