Hi, I'm Dee and my husband is Chris. we were both diagnosed approx 3 years ago with type 2. Chris was borderline diabetic, unfortunately I was diagnosed as having it for 10-15 years. I have advanced neuropathy in feet, legs and hands. But medicos don't appear to be very knowledgeable about this problem. I'm desperate to find a source of info etc. can anyone help?

the best source of information on Diabetic neuropathy that I have read is in Dr. Bernstein's Diabetes Solution. He explains everything clearly, but in an academic style. He also shows how truly good control can help with the problem. He's American, so you'll need to convert the blood glucose units from our millimoles per litre to the US milligrams per decilitre. It's very simple the conversion factor is 18, with their numbers coming out larger than ours, so 5 mmol/l is the same as 90mg/dl/
