Hello All,

I am Type 2 . Recently, I felt blurry vision in my right eye and visited Retina specialist. I was told it was " Diabetic Retinatheraphy" there is blood clot in middle of the eye causing blurry vision.

I was told to undergo Laser sessions. However, I have undergone 2 session of Laser but don't see any improvement .

I am little worried now. Can you please help me ?

It is difficult to tell from your description which eye condition you are talking about:-
  1. Proliferative diabetic retinopathy has new vessels which are weak and bleed easily, obscuring vision. Treatment may be PRP laser (pan-retinal photocoagulation). http://diabeticretinopathy.org.uk/laserdiabetic_retinopathy.html
  2. Diabetic macular oedema is swelling of the central part of the retina and is sometimes still treated with laser. See diabetic maculopathy here:- http://diabeticretinopathy.org.uk/laserdiabetic_retinopathy.html
  3. Retinal vein occlusion which is a blockage of a vein by a 'clot' which can lead to new vessels. Again, these may bleed and obscure vision and require laser treatment. https://www.hey.nhs.uk/patient-leaflet/treatment-options-branch-retinal-vein-occlusion-brvo-2/
It would be best to ask your eye doctor about your treatment and what the expected effect on your vision would be.
