Are you ok @JohnEGreen?Funnily enough I had a not to dissimilar situation last night except it was me having to reassure Judith that I was going to survive the night without medical intervention. Which I obviously did.
I'd had my flu jab my sugars were way too high and the myasthenia was being particularly nasty.
Did you have nightmaresPhew! I'm exhausted after all that partying. At least my hangover is better now. I wish I hadn't eaten all that cheese though, I couldn't sleep!
Thanks for the concern ickihunAre you ok @JohnEGreen?
BTW when I had my flu jab at the pharmacy yesterday I had to take my shirt off I know what an embarrassing thought and do not intend to conjure up any unpleasant visions in the minds eye, but the pharmacist said to me you used to be bigger I said yes I have lost over eight stone he said soryy all theses he said I said things but what he did say was I can tell by the amount of loose skin you have. This lead to me bemoaning the fact that as NHS does not do cosmetic so I am stuck with it.
What he said next I found interesting it was this his pharmacy runs a weight loss diet type scheme and one of the people doing it lost eight stone but has had the loose skin he ended up with removed on the NHS and that they removed approaching to two stone of loose skin in the operation, so it is possible to get the NHS to stump up for skin removal. And skin can weigh a lot. Who knew.
A great gem to know. X I wonder if that patient was diabetic thou? Higher risk of infections. More dangerous an op than a bariatric one.BTW when I had my flu jab at the pharmacy yesterday I had to take my shirt off I know what an embarrassing thought and do not intend to conjure up any unpleasant visions in the minds eye, but the pharmacist said to me you used to be bigger I said yes I have lost over eight stone he said soryy all theses he said I said things but what he did say was I can tell by the amount of loose skin you have.
