HI. You have my sympathy although I'm not a T1 (but do have some insulin). Obviously we can't diagnose your specific sugar variations remotely, but I might focus on diet and your eating pattern? Are you able to control your diet to some extent by smoothing consumption during the day. I'm not sure what the type of meals you would be having in India, but try to keep the carbohydrate portion sizes down and have low-GI where you can; that means trying to avoid highly processed flour, rise etc. Have high-fibre carbs such as beans, pulses and so on. Someone who is more knowledgeable about Indian food may be able to advise in more detail. In summary, avoiding glucose spikes after meals will make it easier to manage the insulin. Of course you may have other conditions present that I would not be aware of. The type of insulin you are taking may also need to be modified?
