Being type 2 & having other medical problems which limit my exercise. It is very difficult to control my weight, however it is not impossible. Apart from the health factor it is very difficult to motivate yourself into a regime of not over eating & calorie control. I use poetry as a self motivation technique. Has any one else any tips or advice.

In a nutshell, insulin is the fat building and fat storage hormone. Therefore, don't eat foods which require large quantities of insulin i.e. carbohydrates.
When insulin levels are low, free fatty acids are mobilised from the fat cells and weight loss can begin. High blood sugars and high insulin levels inhibit and prevent this from happening.
So, test your sugars, and eat low carb!

All the best,
