Are you sure you have to eat low fat?I now have to have low fat too. I think it is because of no gallbladder.
My gallbladder was removed 15 years ago and I've never needed anything.I’ve read that having no gallbladder I should have bile salts or something.
No not really I just had been reading about it and because my liver function is elevated probably too much fat and alcohol. No drinking is easy nearly 3 weeks now without , but I got complacent about what I was eating and sluggish gut.My gallbladder was removed 15 years ago and I've never needed anything.
Do you have symptoms that make you feel something is off because of the gallbladder?
Hi everyone
It has been quite sometime since I have been on here
I am in need of help/advice kick up the backside!
So I had a small reverse window back in 2023 got hba1c to 40. I had lost a couple of stone and felt really quite good. My gallbladder had been removed in the march before much of the weight loss. I was never told by the hospital about foods etc.
Anyway the short of it is I also suffer with binge eating disorder for which I have had some therapy. I now have gained weight have bad liver function and hba1c is back up from 40 to 55 and I’m faced with uncertainty on what foods would suit. I understand the low carb way of eating which I successfully did but I now have to have low fat too. I think it is because of no gallbladder. I’m always hungry craving carbs and sugar to which I give in.
Does anyone have a similar story where they have now succeeded in a better eating life or any help advice would be much appreciate.
Im not ready to give up I want to become a better me.
Thank you for reading
