Thanks for your reply I'm on metformin 4 a.day so would I be able to skip breakfast or lunch even while on medication yes will take a look on suggestions thanksI don’t repeat meals on a weekly basis, except for breakfast, every day I eat keto coconut ’porridge’, not real porridge but a porridge like breakfast made with coconut flour, egg, plus some other ingredients. I love it so have it every day with some chopped up strawberries.
i don’t eat lunch but eat protein bars as snacks with coffee.
Dinner I have maybe 25 - 30 meals which I rotate randomly, which I’ve tried and tested numerous times for the effect on my blood sugar. I only very occasionally try something new!
I agree with @lovinglife , check out the thread she has posted.

We cannot advise on doses and how to take medication, this is something your HCP or pharmacist can help you with. Thanks for your reply I'm on metformin 4 a.day so would I be able to skip breakfast or lunch even while on medication
The advice in the accompanying leaflet for Metformin is to take it with food, this is to mitigate the sometimes nasty side effects that some of us have. It doesn’t work on what you’ve eaten but is a build up drug to help with insulin resistance (thankfully I don’t suffer any side effects from taking Metformin) . I take Metformin and I don’t skip meals, I like my food too muchThanks for your reply I'm on metformin 4 a.day so would I be able to skip breakfast or lunch even while on medication yes will take a look on suggestions thanks
