Hi,
when I calibrate XDrip, it asks for 2 blood tests and when I did it yesterday little finger was
4.8 mmol/L and ring finger was 5.4 mmol/L, washed hands prior to test.
I think there is a tolerance range of accuracy that is 'acceptable'?
I've had larger differences on left and right hands.
Occasionally I will use an identical spare meter to compare and you can get the control solutions to also compare but even they have a tolerance range.
Also blood glucose is not uniformaly distributed around the body so one finger can give a reading and another finger a different reading nowt to do with the meter nessesarely just that the glcose in drop of blood may just be different compared to another drop of blood fom another finger or even the same finger the circulatery system is a dynamic one.
