I'm getting vast differences in readings from the left hand fingers compared to the right hands. Up til now they have more or less been the same. For example this mornings left hand reading was 6.6 mmol but on my right hand it was 5 mmol both cases using the index finger. Which is a quite a difference (to me anyway). It has happened several times over the last week . I wash my hands before testing etc etc.

I have two one touch verio pro meters , one for work and one for home and they have always been reliable. My last HB1AC was 5 % and I roughly calculated this within .3 % prior to the test based on my 3 months meter readings.

Anyone else experienced this , which reading do you take seriously ?

Meters are accurate to about 10%, so they're on the edge of consistency. I always wash my hand before testing.

All the time, just stick with the first reading as you'll never get the same reading twice.
