My accu check stips should I get rid of them
And start a pot as I dropped them on my lap

Yes they should be alright if they were not out too long

As long as they weren't contaminated they should be fine, I've dropped a test strip on the floor many a time and used it without any issues.

I use Freestyle Strips but it doesn't matter, provided you put them straight back in the pot they should be fine, most test strips now have a protective film (where the blood is drawn into the strip) which protects it from contamination to some degree.

Thanks for this, this'll definitely save me some stress when I need to test and it falls on the floor or something!

I constantly drop strips lol. :p. As long as they're not damaged or dirty they get used. :)

I constantly drop strips too, lol. Actually the first thing I do with a new pack is turn them all around so I grab the end where the blood goes, so I can push the far away end into the meter. Seems to work ok.
