When I enquired about testing I was told that they would not provide the equipment for type 2's and that it is not recommended for them to test. She also insisted that I eat at least 5 portions of carbs each day. (I didn't listen to that either, shhhh).
Me too! And I'm glad you asked the question. T2, you don't need to test, my DN did admit it was because the NHS can not afford to pay for T2's. I have got a Codefree and I am so glad I can see what happens to my blood glucose levels.
I work with addicts and we have a needle exchange but it is not where I come under anyway and not really within their policy so I want somewhere near me. So my chemist, which I always use should be able to give me one and take it back?
