My name is Sam Taylor and I'm a third year sports student at the University of Winchester. I'm currently doing research for my dissertation into stigmatization of diabetic athletes. Being type 1 myself I have experienced some prejudice when it comes to competing in sport and I'm keen to find other examples.
If you’re a type 1 sportsperson I would really appreciate some help, especially if you’re a cyclist, however if you've partook in any sports to a semi / professional level, or can help me make contact with those who have, it would be brilliant to hear from you.
Ideally I would like to do interviews but if this is unrealistic then phone interviews or I could send you the questions over email would equally be fine.
