Hello, I am type 2 Diabetic using Metformin, I have recently been prescribed Ditroplan 2.5mg to be taken 3 times a day, to control bladder problem. These contain lactose does anyone know if these would effect sugar levels. I have been taking these for about a month, thank you :)

I take 10 ml lactulose syrup first thing every day for Morphine Constipation far larger dose
than you have in that tablet ? Does not seem to effect my BG levels :)

Ditroplan
I found nothing in the British National Formulary 61 for indentations for BG control
http://bnf.org/bnf/bnf/current/search.htm?q=Ditroplan

Incontinence wise I need a catheter all the time now :? not so bad saves any spills

I also take Desmopressin to help in the night with Incontinence Holds it Back until morning
Doctors prescribe Desmopressin most frequently for treatment of diabetes insipidus or nocturnal enuresis.

Dont know if your gp is dealing with you ? I recommend you are seen by the urologist team
Mine are spot on ,Very helpful

I found that most of the Incontinence drugs gave me a very dry mouth
so you drink more and pee more :?

I take other drugs that D0 affect my BG sometimes theres no alternative and have to take a hit
adjust BG meds or diet
