4.5 shouldn't make you dizzy when non diabetic.I could understand being 4.5 or below and feeling dizzy, even for a non diabetic. However have you ruled out vertigo? In terms of the dizziness, does it feel like the room is spinning and won't stop?

ok so over the past few years, I’ve had something which I self-diagnosed as “food anxiety”.
The reason for this is that I suffered from panic and anxiety when younger, and as I overcame it over the years, I think I hung on to food as comfort.
However, over the y are I’ve realised I can’t go without food because it makes me feel as if I’m literally about to die.
My sugar readings are always below 5.5 fasted, and 90% of the time are below 4.5 fasted.
However, I’ve noticed that the low readings don’t always correspond with me feeling dizzy and severely hungry (to the point where I’m gonna pass out). Sometimes they’re around 5-6 and I feel this way, and sometimes they’re below 5 and I feel completely fine.
Can anyone give me any advice?
I had my hb1 (or whatever you call it) done and was told I’m completely fine. I had more tests done and was told I have a b12 deficiency which I’m having supplementation for, but it’s not helping tbh.
Is your GP going to reduce or stop your medication? This happened to me - I kept feeling dizzy and falling over when I stood up. I lost 3.5 stone and no longer needed the medication.my blood pressure tested at 80/60. Last Christmas it was 190/110. I am on high blood pressure medication.

Just out of interest, do you mind telling me what BP meds you are on? My husband has been experiencing dizzy spells and I suspect his BP has lowered due to losing weight. The problem is that he has severe white coat syndrome and even gets anxious now when we try to check at home!
