Don't follow the SW plan, it's counts high carb foods as Syn free, pure kryptonite for a diabetic

Come on forums like this, far more valuable than dietary dogma that causes more harm than good.

(1) Research low carb
(2) Get a meter
(3) Eat to the meter

The only advantage to weight watchers and slimmers world, is to them as you are lining their pockets.
Your current Hba1c tells you how bad they are.
DON'T count calories, count carbs.
Try low carb, cut out all the Bread, Pasta, Rice, Potatoes, Pastry and most fruit, berries are ok in smaller amounts.
Base your meals on meat, fish, EGGS, butter, cream or FULL FAT yoghurt, leafy green veg, avoid below ground vegs, unless you test your reaction to them via pre and post meal readings. You may be able to tolerate smaller amunts of them.
DON'T be scared of fat, contrary to EVERYTHING you've been told, they are your friends, and no problem at all provided you don't mix them in a diet with CARBS.
Look on the success stories thread, to see how well you could be doing.

If you did low carb especially Keto, you would be dieing to be weighed, as your losses would knock everyone else into a cocked hat.
