Might seem a silly question but speaking to someone the other day and they mentioned that diet drinks are bad because they fool your body into thinking it's getting something sweet so therefore raise you BG. personally i don't think it makes much difference to me but i wonder if anyone knows the answer or have had any experience of this?
i know they are bad anyway because of the aspartame but now and again can't hurt .
I drink diet Pepsi and Coke.....nil carbs. Has no effect whatsoever on my Bg levels.
