Hi all,
From what I understand, ketones are present when body is processing fat for energy, instead of sugar from the blood. Obvious conclusion for me is that, if you want to loose weight (so burn fat), you will have some ketones in your blood while doing it. Since ketones up to 0.6 are considered "healthy" (though I feel awful even when I have 0.1...), does this mean that if a healthy (non-diabetic, that is) person is loosing weight (so they're burning fat), will they have ketones in their blood as well?
