Hi
@Ryola
The following is speculative, so feel free to take it with a pinch of salt.
You mentioned severe insomnia and may have leaky gut.
Leaky gut is associated with malabsorption.
And magnesium deficiency is associated with insomnia.
See where I am going with this?
My story:
Had a bad gut upset over a year ago that has left me with malabsorption and a fibre ‘intolerance’
Within 2 months of that starting my sleep deteriorated to torture levels. Terrible sleep deprivation.
After 6 months of that I would have chewed my own arm off for a decent night’s sleep.
Then I stumbled across a reference to magnesium and insomnia.
The suggestion was to try tablet supplements unless there were malabsorption problems. In that case use magnesium oil rubbed on the skin.
I got some and used it.
And slept well that night, and every night since.
Magnesium oil comes in many different brands and different price ranges, so (if you are interested) shop around. But a website with good info is the ‘Ancient Minerals’ one.
