Take 500g metformin morning and night what if I only take the one on a morning and not take the one at night as I don't want to rely on tablets

Whether or not you take prescribed meds is up to you but the answer to your question would need to depend on your blood sugar levels in general, whether you are low carbing or otherwise watching your diet, what your readings are post and pre prandial and what your Dr or Diabetic Nurse have to say. I would keep a food diary and do some readings then go and discuss it with them.

Hello. If I have a problem for which I am prescribed tablets by the Doctor then before changing what I take I would always discuss it with the Doctor first.
