You seem to be referring to one particular thread @pleinsterPeople, am I the only one wondering if we could have an alternative to the "like" button..maybe something in addition such as "hang in there"? I mean, I hesitate to select "like" on say a morning level forum if someone's level is pretty wild, or if someone is a bit down...but it seems that some people "like" all kinds of stuff. I'm not knocking them - they are obviously liking things just to recognise a contribution or to acknowledge and encourage another member, and that's great. I don't want to write a comment in such forums as I'm told by moderators that's not really what they are for (and I understand that) but I'd "like" another option...I mean otherwise it's a matter of time before someone posts "This morning's level is 35! Both my feet have fallen off, and I can't see a damned thing..so I may be typing this on a biscuit tin" and there will be 25 "likes" by the next day! Just saying..anyone agree? Feel free to "like" my problem.

I never understood the need for a like button anyway. I can post to say I agree/disagree should I feel the need to do so.
You could send the member a PM explaining where to post or could alert a Moderator via PM @Hiiitsme. There are other boards that their post will be seen by a wider audience rather than the Type2 life thread. There are many posts that are moved by Moderators from that particular thread and the poster is alerted. What I find hard is NOT being able to reply on the Fasting level thread. So many new people start posting on there I want to encourage them. That was where I started posting (on the previous one that got closed) and had so many helpful and encouraging comments from people that helped me so much. I want to be able to do the same for others. For me I know I can ask questions on the Type 2 Life thread but it seems not many people use that thread. How can I encourage people to go to the Type 2 Life thread without replying on the Fasting thread?
I never understood the need to reply to absolutely everything either.A thread would become too long and disjointed by all the like/agree/disagree comments Squire.
Facebook have wrestled with this for a long time. There is some reason why they have not implemented it, but I've not worked out what that is yet =PPeople, am I the only one wondering if we could have an alternative to the "like" button..maybe something in addition such as "hang in there"?
