I have past the phase of sugar craving long time ago and i really don't feel the need to eat anything sweet. But a few days ago i got a craving for chocolate and bought one with stevia sweetner. a piece of chocolate was all i needed just for the feeling the whole thing is still in my fridge.
So i thought why not use it to make ice cream too. went to the market and saw all the stevia had around 50-80% carbs. So i was wondering why people suggest that stevia can be used in a low carb diet?
Do any of the members here use it? why is it used by the low carb com if it has high carbs?
ps: i know about other sweetners like erythriol i am just wondering why people suggested stevia before
