Doctor’s Appointment

I could honestly weep. It took me 30 mins to walk to and from the doctors’ surgery. My appointment was 10 minutes late. I saw a doctor who I’d never seen before who asked me the same question about whether I was taking metformin and gliclazide four times. He then said the appointment was pointless as I didn’t have an up to date blood test. I was in the room for less than three minutes. No ‘how are you?’ Nothing. I feel totally rubbish, have a horrible cough and am not sleeping.
 
Welcome to our world. You get used to it. Although by all accounts things are looking up for some people these days.
 
Sorry it was such a rubbish appointment. Hope your cough improves even without medical help.
Perhaps they should have advised you about having a blood test before your session.
