Hi im not on medication and i dont test as they have said i dont need to but this is happening a couple of times now . I have diabetic appiontment on thursday but they not doing bloods as they did them in january and now work want to do an emergency plan on what to when it happens again . I dont know what to doHi and welcome @britishbabe1
Did you test your bloods when this happened? This would show you if you were low or high. Are you on medication that could cause a hypo?
I will tag :daisy for her helpful guide for newcomers.
My levels were 47My suggestion is to get a meter and test. Then you would know if you are high or low when this happens. What were your results in January? Hopefully you can ask at your diabetic appointment but without knowing what your levels were at the time it is difficult to know. If you have had high levels and then reduce them sometimes the body takes time to accept lower levels.
Sorry for butting in.. just adding @daisy1 tagHi and welcome @britishbabe1

Hi and welcome to the forum... It sounds to me like it may well have been as others suggested a quick drop in blood sugar levels.. I had one or two feelings very similar when I was using insulin. Our bodies kind of go into panic mode when a rapid drop occurs to make us eat something, even if our blood sugar levels aren't that low.. it's just the rapid drop that makes you feel weak, shaky maybe even sick.No thats fine i just need to know what to say/ especially when i go for my apointment
i know how you feel my doctors and nursing staff don't care about mine. i have had leaves where i am not getting a reading it is just saying High and they act like it is nothing this is why i am in a battle to get mine managed under the hospital and not GP because i feel as if i am always having blood taken but nothing is happening. it's as if they dont know what medication to use with me and i'm just there for them to test on.Hi this is my first time posting on here but does anyone feel like the doctors dont care what happens to you . Last friday at work i had my dinner everything was going well untill i started to feel shaky confused and sleepy . The staff in the room were worried and said i looked looked pale, clamy, shaky disorriantated looked like i was going to sleep. This had also happened a few days before aswell but not as bad . So i went to doctors and he said he wasnt worried about it as my bloods were ok in january so now i dont know what to do
