9.7, no way, can't be right!!!! What have I done wrong? I haven't eaten anything since lunch time and that was just a slice of lamb and it was 5.1 then. So what had I done differently?

I'd forgotten to wash my hands so I took another reading and that was 4.2. Now that's a learning step I won't forget for a long time. It gave me the willies.:hilarious:

It does, doesn't it. The washing the hands thing is really the thing to do... and it takes a reminder like this to reinforce it... I tend to worry about not drying enough or the towel I dry my hands on, not being the "freshest".... testing could send you OCD if you let it... as a high can really put a downer on the day.

So true, I have great respect for my meter.
