I did Thank you. No one wants to talk though. just really feel alone and would love to talk to somebody near me. Meet up maybe meet up for coffee once a month to share each other's situation.

Hi there! I'm in the Glasgow area but I don't drive so unfortunately wouldn't be able to make it through to Edinburgh.
I would be happy to chat on the phone but I don't want to post my telephone no. on a forum and I couldn't figure out how to send a private message. Can anyone help?
I remember only too well how desperately alone I felt when my son was diagnosed a year ago and I don't want anyone else to have to feel like that so I hope we can get together and help each other.

Take good care of yourself because you need to stay strong for your wee boy and try not too worry too much, he can still have a long happy life. It will just take a bit more thought and work than before but will be second nature to him as he won't remember any other way. XX

Hi there, thanks for your reply. How are you getting on with your little boy? Is he on insulin or pump? X

Really understand how this can feel .
Quite isolated and more alone ((hug)).

Please do wander around in the parents threads there are loads of
other friendly parents here .
They would love to chat with you too .
Interaction of this can help and support you plus others so well .
