Does anyone else suffer this side effect ?

I have had water retention in both legs for over 7 years, mostly below the knee. I have undergone a vast array of "Heart" investigation over the last 12 months, because this is where the specialists thought the problem lay. I have exhausted all tests and my Heart is in pretty good condition. There is a little bit of Calcification in one vein but relatively I'm ok. Now they are talking about investigating my glands. Although I appreciate all this help, I really don't think they have a clue. I now this does seem a little insignificant but I haven't wore shoes for over 7 years and I do miss this normality. IS THERE ANY ONE OUT THERE IN SIMILAR CIRCUMSTANCE ?

I don't suffer myself but my mum gets water retention in the lower legs, she is on a Diuretic (water tablet) reach seems to work well in reducing the swelling.

I've been taking water tablets for 5 years and the only difference I've found is I get up around 3.30 to 4.30 every night for the toilet.
I REALLY CAN'T BELIEVE THERE IS NO ONE OUT THERE WITH SIMILAR AILMENTS !
