Is there a meal helper on the net. What I want is hassle free meal breakdowns with cals, fat, firbre etc. I have tried a couple but nothing has the home made stuff in it. I want to be able to put in a meal i.e breakfast porridge half a cup water half a cup semi skimmed and that will give me the breakdown.

One of them didnt even have fish...*** I eat fish at least 3 times a week.

Please please please is there something out there. Oh yes and fairly straight forward to navigate

I don't know, but there must be somewhere. I do it using my little Gem and a piece of paper

Thats the problem....a book and paper. I love technology.

My sisters friend uses one and it tells her also how much exercise she has burnt etc. I have looked into that one but there is no place for anything home made which to me is then useless

You love technology.
Make a programme and get a lot of diabetics' gratitude. Could you build it on to a data base?

{{{{{{{{{{{{SCREAM}}}}}}}}}}}}

I love to play with technology but dont understand the language it takes for building etc.

We have wonderful people on this site with amazing brains wouldnt you think they could come up with something especially specific for diabetics.

(do you think if we pile it on thick enough someone would do it)

Fiddly . You can put in individual 'meals' . American based so you have to use words like oatmeal and zucchini but it has got some 'British 'branded products such as Quaker oats, . When searching for foods you also have to scroll through lots of user inputed data which is not always accurate. However once you've set up regular type meals it can be useful.
I did it for a while but found it rather time consuming.
