WE LIVE IN CARDIFF AND MY DAUGHTER GOES TO UHW FOR HER DIABETES CLINIC.HAVING MOVED FROM PEDIATIRIC CLINIC TO ADULTS IN PAST MONTHS,HER NEW CONSULTANT SUGGESTED SHE TRIED TRESIBA INSTEAD OF LANTUS.HE THEN WENT ON TO TELL US IT HASNT BEEN APPROVED BY THE WELSH VERSION OF N.I.C.E BUT WAS HOPING IT WOULD BE PASSED BY AUGUST.THIS HASNT HAPPENED AND WE ARE GOING TO HAVE TO FUND IT OURSELVES.WHEN DOING SOME RESEARCH TODAY ON TRESIBA ON THIS SITE IT SAYS IT HAS BEEN APPROVED FOR USE IN ENGLAND AND WALES.!IWHY CANT WE HAVE IT.HELP.IS THERE ANYONE USING THIS FORUM WHO USES IT OR KNOWS OF SOMEONE THAT DOES.
