These photos were taken 2 years apart, I'm now 16 months into my LCHF journey. HbA1c remains at 29 (non diabetic) and I've lost 11 stone in total over the last 2 years. So yes, I'm going to say that (for me at least) LCHF definitely works!

Wow, that's fantastic, you're looking amazing! Well done you, a great example of how advantageous LCHF can be for some people

Wow, amazing.

11st! That's 1.5 of me!!

How wonderful - and due to all your consistent hard work! Well done.

I can only aspire to such a brilliant hba1c.

You look marvellous.

You must be so proud. You look great. Your weight loss and HbA1c are amazing. Well done.

Yep, I'm still struggling a little to be proud of what I've achieved instead of just feeling so ashamed of the state I had gotten myself into, but I wanted to share a good news story just so people know it IS possible. Prior to taking the LCHF plunge I'd been trying desperately to lose weight with low fat and calorie counting but was SO ravenously hungry all the time and the more low fat carbs I ate, the hungrier I got.
I gave an 8 stone person a piggyback the other day and nearly collapsed under the weight of them - it just seems unreal to me that I've lost quite so much!

What an inspiration! Congratulations, you look incredible and I hope that one day I can achieve what you have done

Bloody hell that's stupendous .. very well done indeed.. a true inspiration

Truey remarkable, well done you.

It's results like this that inspire me to carry on with lchf.
