Hi All.
With the autumn season hitting us now, I have found the cooler weather far
better with my own BG levels and control.
This has made me wonder if the change of season has anything to do with it all.
As during the summer(s) of the last 2 years my control went more erratic and
unpredictable with the warmer climates.
I even had to half my insulin dosage to compensate for the warmer weather as
it made my BG levels drop more suddenly.
Have found in the summer I peak n trough now its cooler am holding much more
steadier and am feeling the benefits of it too.
Havent ever changed or altered my meal plans or daily routines during the season
changes , though the only thing being have felt more drained during the
summer climate.
I put this down to the heat and muggy/close weather.
Now its cooler I feel much improved with more stable BG levels.
Does anyone else have or find this is similar with themselves?
Anna.

It always affects me. My Mum used to live in Spain and when I used to go and visit I would pretty much cut out my quick acting insulin and just keep taking my long acting one and my sugar levels would be fine.
