Does this sound like Neuropathy? Sudden burning sensations in upper legs following improved glucose control.

Do you suppose it’s coming from something else?

I mean its certainly possible. I've been trying to figure out what I have done differently. Other than playing a lot more golf lately, not sure. Surely that's not it, and if it is I'll probably just tough it out anyway. :)

All sounds very familiar!!

What meds and dosage were you all on?
Relief would be nice, been too long now!

No meds. Just went to a low carb diet.

Remind me how long you have been having these pains? Have you noticed any differences from when it started?

I have had the numbness in both legs and painful pins and needles feeling in my feet for over 4 months. No difference since the start.getting me down now, Started meds about 4 weeks ago after loads of tests to rule things out But....maybe it's a waiting game!!

Sorry to hear that. Did all of it come on at once, or did you have numbness first and then pain? Mine came on suddenly. Burning feet. No numbness.

It took a while, but it did get better. I can't recall exactly, but I would guess that after about 6 months of good control I started seeing improvement. Hoping for improvement for you soon.

I noticed a bit of numbness but my docs didn't see any problem then it got worse suddenly, both numbness in both legs and painful feet, struggling to walk. Doc has just increased my pregabalin dose and got neuro physiotherapy today so praying for some relief.
