I try and keep the carbs down and don't eat much in the way of sweets etc.I'm sort of loathe to go back to my doctor until I've done some research myself and got a handle on things.I'd be interested to know how my doses at the moment compare with others?  I started at 3 units of the fast acting and have taken it up to 10 quite slowly but it doesn't seem to be making any different.  The doctor said that I should raise the fast acting depending on my sugar level.  So high pre-lunch reading means that I should increase my breakfast dose.What are other people up to?  I'd like to know that I still have a way to go on the fast acting before I have to worry that it's not doing anything.Hope that makes sense,Andy</blockquote>
