We've just come back from a ' Valentine's weekend chocolate fair'
Le chocolat dans tous ses etats.

Lots of free tastings, chocolates:every flavour you could think of (and some strange ones you wouldn't), chocolate fountains, chocolate lollipops, biscuits, macaroons, chocolate 'gingerbread', fruits enrobed in chocolate, 'laguiole' knives made from chocolate, vin de Bordeaux au chocolat. There was even foie gras au chocolate and what did I buy?....................

a book '130 desserts pour diabetiques'
Some good lateral thinking by the book stall owner when choosing his stock I think.
(though we were tempted by a small box of chocs and some tiny macaroons :) Fortunately my BGl was only 5.1 after several little tastings and no extra insulin)

The term 'masochistic tendencies' springs to mind!

I expect you enjoyed it anyway. :D

****...............................I read this post.

I knew I shouldn't.

Started thinking about Dairy Milk, Milky Bars, Dairy Crunch, Galaxy, Bourneville Plain, Whole Nut, Fruit and Nut, Mars Bars, Kit Kats, Twix, Boost, Ripples, Snickers, Curly Wurly, Fudge, Bar Six, etc, etc.

Mods, can we have a smilie with a drooling mouth please?

You'd have been fine at the fair then, not one of those on sight. I don't think they'd be considered to be chocolate
