Great book, great information based on Professor Roy Taylor's Newcastle Diet. Its good science and not from some product/service flogging loony fringe site..

It is an excellent book. I have read it twice and bought the accompanying recipe book.
I remember watching the tv series on BBC and Moseley's journey through all the diets supposedly geared toward T2. This was all before I was diagnosed and blissfully unaware of what was going on in my body but I was already a fan. Moseley's honest, no nonsense approach makes him one of us i.e a sufferer of T2 not a money making here today gone tomorrow snake oil salesman.

Would anybody recommend for type 1 or is it tailored to type 2 specifically?
For type1 it will still give rapid weight lose, but what he says about carbs and remission etc is tailored to type2.

If you want to try low carbing for T1 and maybe some weight loss check out Type1grit on facebook and Dr Bernstein.
