This article on day 3 by Dr James Muecke is a brilliant summary of the condition, the causes, the history, the diet, the future.He has a Food Diamond diagram to replace  the flawed Food Pyramid, 5 As and 3As mnemonics  and doesn't hold back criticising Government .For those who don't know him, Dr Muecke is an eye doctor who spotted the rise in patients referred to him with blindness and other problems caused by diabetes and researched solutions  including low carb.It's worth a read, and sharing with anyone you know who may be at risk from what they eat,  and risking their children too.He's worth checking out on YouTube tooEdited  for typo</blockquote>
