Hi

I see you have to provide 3 months of blood meter readings to a healthcare professional as part of the driving licence renewal process. What is the exact reason for this, and can they cancel the renewal if you have a lot of hypos?

any info/actual experience of this would be appreciated

This is only required if you are a Group 2 driver, i.e. buses and HGV drivers. Group 1 (cars and motorcycles) do not need to provide three months of meter data.

Hypos themselves are not an issue for group 1, however if you have had two or more assisted hypos then you need to tell the DVLA.
