Driving Licence Renewal

My 3 year licence runs out in January. Does DVLA send you a renewal form or do you do it yourself? If so, what form is it? Cheers.

They should send you the documents from what I remember.

From the government website
"DVLA will send you renewal application documents 90 days before your licence is due to expire, if you have a short period driving licence."
