Hi, Sugarless Sue, thanks for looking and replying to my little "life story"., and thank you for taking the time to look up some information for me. I have been intouch with DVLA when i first went on to Insulin. They sent me a questionaire to fill in for them to make their own enquiries, and the outcome of their so called "investigation" was a revockation of my Class One license, which i kind of knew would happen. They have allowed me to continue driving small vehicles upto 3.5 tons, and i can apply to drive upto 7.5 tons. Not the same as driving a 44 tonner though! What annoys me is they seem to think i will have a "Hypo" at the drop of a hat, but i am fully aware of the early warning signs of the onset of low blood sugar. I know some people are not, but i`m not one of them, at least not yet anyway. My Specialist actually supports me in getting back or keeping my HGV 1. Makes me wonder if the DVLA actually did get intouch with my specialist and gp. Anyway, thanks again for looking, keep well, hope to correspond again with you or anyone else. :D
